NATO fighters sent on first real mission
The NATO F-16 fighter jets stationed at the Zokniai airfield in northwestern Lithuania as part of the Baltic air-policing mission got their first taste of action last week when the planes were dispatched to intercept a suspicious aircraft approaching Estonian airspace.
