BAE begins to pull apart Saab links
BAE Systems began announced plans to cut its stake in Saab to 20 per cent and relinquish control of the joint venture that markets the Gripen jet fighter for export. BAE also denied suggestions on Tuesday that there was a conflict of interest with Saab over the marketing of Gripen because BAE is one of the three companies building the Eurofighter Typhoon.
