France splurges EUR 3bn on Dassault fighter jets
France on Tuesday ordered 59 nuclear-capable Rafale fighter jets from the French aeronautic group Dassault Aviation. 47 will be for the air force and 12 for the navy, with deliveries from 2008-2012.
