NCW Changing Urban Warfare, Official Says
Network centric warfare has dramatically affected urban warfare by reducing fratricide among friendly forces, allowing for more precision attack targeting and exposing the location of enemy forces, according to Col. Fred Stein (USA-Ret.), senior principal engineer for Network Centric Warfare for the MITRE Corp. at Fort Hood, Texas.
