Lynx crashes during Gulf exercise
A Royal Navy Mark 8 Lynx helicopter from 815 squadron at RNAS Yeovilton, Somerset, crashed into the sea while on exercises in the Gulf. The three crew members survived the crash and were rescued by helicopter. The crash happened at 0400 GMT on Thursday, 0800 local time, around 120 miles east of Oman.
