Russian Officer Gets 4 Years for Fatal Helicopter Collision
A Russian military court has sentenced the deputy commander of an air force unit, Lieutenant-Colonel Gennady Golobchansky, to four years in jail after finding him guilty of violating air traffic rules that resulted in the collision of the two Mi-24 helicopters in August 2003. Six crewmembers were killed in the incident.
