Decades after death, pilot brought home for burial
U.S. Air Force Reserve Capt. Troy "Gordy" Cope, killed after a fierce dogfight with six MiG-15s above the Yalu River in 1952, will be buried Tuesday with full military honors at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. The ceremony will include a missing man formation by the 335th Fighter Interceptor Squadron of the 4th Fighter Group, the squadron Cope belonged to during his military career.
