Chile 'helped UK' in Falklands war
Retired Chilean Air Force general Fernando Matthei confirmed that Chile collaborated with the United Kingdom during the Falklands conflict. Chile bought nine Hawker Hunter war planes and, after the war, received three reconnaissance planes.
