Researcher claims damaged U.S. spy plane fled to safety over Finland in 1954
A USAF Boeing RB-47E Stratojet photo reconnaissance aircraft that was damaged during a dogfight with Soviet MiG-17s, escaped by flying into Finnish airspace on May 8th 1954.
