RSAF Runway Cycling 2005
The Republic of Singapore Air Force held its 10th annual runway cycling event yesterday. I was there with my canon G5 and photographed some of the aircraft at the static display. The highlight was the 145 Sqn's new F-16D Blk 52 + and RSAF unveiled its Litening III and Pathfinder combination. According to the CO of 145 Sqn, the pods have been in used since they came back last July. The pods are shared with other F-16 squadrons as well. Missing from the 52 + are the DASH Helmet Mounted Sight sensors. The pilots I spoke to says it will be added in future. It was an nice outing for me, I've meet a pilot I knew back in my airforce days and he also happen to be my classmate's brother.
