Typhoon hit by Singapore
According to this Flight Daily News article, the Eurofighter Typhoon was the RSAF's favoured technical solution for its Next Generation Fighter requirement. However it was rejected due to the "shambolic performance" by BAE Systems during the bidding process and RSAF's unease about the risks surrounding the Tranche 2 roadmap. Clearly, the winner of the competition will have to live with the fact that its not the best fighter based on technical abilities.
