VFA-106 Pilot Rescued Following Ejection An F/A-18C from VFA-106 crashed about 8:30 a.m. Oct. 14, 60 miles west of Key West, Florida while on a training mission.

The pilot was rescued by a Coast Guard search and rescue boat.
