Bulgaria Inks Contract with Elbit Systems For Helicopters Upgrade Bulgaria has signed a long-disputed deal with Israel's Elbit Systems to modernize its Russian-made helicopters.

12 Mi-24 combat helicopters and six Mi-17 transport helicopters will be upgraded.
