'Tamil Tigers' attack helicopter Suspected Tamil Tiger militants fired four shots at a Sri Lankan Air Force helicopter on its way to pick up the Italian Deputy Foreign Minister.

The Mi-17 suffered minor damage but returned to Ampara town safely.
