U.S. Choppers Make Emergency Landings in Afghanistan Two U.S. Chinooks made emergency landings in separate areas in southern Afghanistan on Sunday.

Five U.S. soldiers were injured in a landing north of Kandahar that seriously damaged the helicopter.
