C-17 halt to cost $8.4B
A study by the U.S. Department of Commerce found that closing the C-17 production line would costs the economy $8.4 billion and eliminating more than 25,000 jobs nationwide.
With 702 suppliers in 42 states, the elimination or suspension of C-17 production would affect the entire country, the report concluded.
