Cruise missile unit deactivated at Fairchild
The USAF 2nd Support Squadron has been deactivated. It was the last unit assigned to support B-52 bombers at Fairchild Air Force Base.
The unit has stored and maintained cruise missiles at the base for use by B-52 bombers for the past 12 years.
