Legacy fleet pays the price
The USAF will sacrifice one quarter of its fighter aircraft to preserve its F-22A Raptor and F-35A Joint Strike Fighter program.
It will begin by cutting the F-117A fleet and some O/A-10 that are excluded from a re-engining and re-winging upgrade program.
