Marines to replace aging helicopters in Okinawa with Ospreys
Expect to see the MV-22 Osprey over the skies of Asia in 2012 when the U.S. Marine Corps deploys it to Okinawa.
The marines had originally planned the deployment for 2007 or 2008, but faced strong opposition in Japan due to safety concerns about the Osprey.
