Navy jet breaks sound barrier and residents' peace
A U.S. Navy F/A-18 caused panic and fear of a terrorist attack when it went supersonic doing a maintenance check about 40 miles out in the Gulf of Mexico.
Emergency dispatchers were flooded with calls as some thought is was an earthquake while others fear it was an explosion.
