Northrop Grumman, U.S. Air Force Demonstrate Improved 'Smart' Weapon for B-2 Stealth Bomber
Northrop Grumman has successfully tested a new 5,000-pound "bunker-buster" ordinance for the B-2.
The new GBU-28C/B bomb is armed with a BLU-122 warhead-guidance system. The GBU-28C/B is an upgrade to the 28B/B model that was deployed with the B-2 in 2002. The new version penetrates deeper into the ground.
