Northrop Grumman Uses a Fire Scout Unmanned Aerial Vehicle to Enhance Network-Centric Capabilities for the Warfighter
Northrop Grumman and the Office of Naval Research used a RQ-8A Fire Scout vertical take-off and landing tactical unmanned aerial vehicle (VTUAV) to demonstrated the ability to extend communications range and capability.
The event also marked Fire Scout's 200th flight.
