Pigeon brings down RAF helicopter
A RAF Chinook encountered a bird strike Feb. 15 that cracked the windscreen forcing it to make an emergency landing in a field in Yarrowford, Selkirk.
The helicopter was grounded for about four hours while a repair team flew in from RAF Leuchars.
