U.S. official sees F-35 deal with UK by mid-June
U.S. Deputy Defence Secretary Gordon England said that Washington and London's differences over technology transfer issues related to the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter is now within 1 percent.
He expects the issues to be resolved by middle of June. At the same time, Australian Ambassador Dennis Richardson said his country wants the job to be delivered on time, and to avoid rising per-unit costs.
