Air Force ready to restart process to acquire tankers
Kenneth Krieg, the Pentagon's chief weapons buyer, ordered the U.S. Air Force on Thursday to "begin the requirements and acquisition process for tanker recapitalization."
The Air Force is expected to start a competition as early as Monday that will pit Boeing against EADS for tankers.
