Boeing Apache and Unmanned Little Bird Demonstrator Test Expands UAV Control
An AH-64D Apache Longbow helicopter has demonstrated for the first time the ability to control an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) weapon payload.
The test conducted in February at Mesa, Arizona involves an Apache Longbow and a A/MH-6 Unmanned Little Bird (ULB) UAV.
The next level of testing involves controlling the UAV's sensors and employing its weapons.
