Giant missile defense radar leaves Pearl Harbor for Alaska The Boeing Sea-Based X-Band Radar has left Pearl Harbor on Friday for its new base in Alaska.

It will be station at the town of Adak, a former naval station about 1,200 miles southwest of Anchorage.
