A new X-plane has flown. DARPA's X-37 made an autonomous landing after being dropped from Scale Composites' White Knight on Apr. 7 at 37,000 feet..
The X-37 then made a flawless landing at Edwards Air Force Base but rolled off the end of the runway and suffered heavy damaged to its nose landing gear.
