HAL creates history by assembling American Bell 407 chopper Hindustan Aeronautics Limited has successfully assembled a Bell 407 helicopter for the first time.

Bell is offering the 407 helicopter for the Indian Army's contract for 197 helicopters. The 407 recently won the U.S. Army's LRH contest.
