14 Britons die in NATO crash in Afghanistan
An RAF Nimrod MR2 maritime patrol aircraft has crashed in Kandahar, Afghanistan with 14 on board.
12 RAF personnel, one Royal Marine and an Army soldier were killed. While the Taliban claim that the aircraft was shot down with a stinger missile, the British believes that it was an accident as the crew reported technical problems before the crash.
