Air Force chief: Test weapons on testy U.S. mobs
U.S. Air Force Secretary Michael Wynne has suggested that nonlethal weapons should be tested on American citizens in crowd-control situations before being used on the battlefield.
He argues that if the government is unwilling to use against fellow citizens, then the weapon should not be used in a wartime situation. This would make it easier to avoid questions from the world press about possible safety considerations.
