F-16 pilot reported landing gear problem before crash near Spangdahlem
The F-16 from the 52nd Fighter Wing's 22nd Fighter Squadron ran out of fuel and crash as it was not able to land due to a undercarriage problem.
The problem was identified towards the end of its training mission and the airmen at Spangdahlem even called Lockheed Martin to try and determine a solution.
