Jet repair job losses 'unlawful'
The British Ministry of Defence may have acted unlawfully when it transferred support of the Harrier and Tornado fleet from St Athan to two RAF bases in England.
Union Amicus claims that under legislation known as the Transfer of Undertakings Protection of Employment (Tupe), employees cannot be dismissed, but should be transferred with their existing terms and conditions.
