Military intercepts mock enemy warhead
The U.S. Missile Defense Agency successfully carried out its first test since 2002 when an interceptor successfully shot down a target missile on Friday.
The interceptor was launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base at 10:39 a.m., 17 minutes after the target missile was launched from Kodiak Island, Alaska.
