Polish soldier's 'fishy' sabotage tale
A distinguished Polish fighter pilot lied that he had found a bomb intended to blow up the plane of Poland's wartime leader and the whole incident was covered up by the British government.
Wing Commander Bohdan Kleczynski claims that he found a smouldering bomb under his mattress as he rested on the B-24 bomber. He dismantle the bomb into two parts and threw one into the plane's toilet.
He reported the incident to the FBI after the plane reach Washington but he later confessed that he had actually brought the incendiary bomb on board and panicked when an electrical fault on the plane fooled him into thinking that the bomb is about to explode.
