Reports claim Taiwan to get new missile shield
Taiwan's Apple Daily paper said Taiwan will introduce a new home-grown anti-missile shield next year.
The shield, known as the Anti Tactical Ballistic Missile, will use the locally developed "Tienkung" (Sky Bow) missiles.
A total of 12 ATBM batteries will be deployed together with U.S.-made Patriot missiles.
