Russia Sells to India License for Engine Assembly
Rosoboronexport has sealed a contract with India for the licensed production of 120 RD-33 series 3 engines.
The engines will be used to upgrade India's MiG-29 fleet. HAL will first learn how to manufacture the RD-33 and later proceed to gain know how on thrust vectoring.
