U.S. pilot targeted Canadians' trash fire
The U.S. Air Force A-10 pilot who strafed Canadian troops in Afghanistan was suppose to target a fire at a suspected Taliban position.
He found a fire set up by Canadian troops that were burning their trash almost directly in line with his course.
Failing to make a 100 percent identification of the target, he fired off a short burst of cannon fire before realising his mistake.
