Air Force proposes initial Joint Strike Fighter locations
The F-35 Lightning II is coming to Asia. Below are the locations that the USAF has earmarked for environmental analyses for deploying the F-35.
Eglin Air Force Base, for primary maintenance and flight training; Nellis AFB, and Edwards AFB, for flight-testing; and Hill AFB, Kadena Air Base, Japan, and Shaw AFB/McEntire Air National Guard Base, for operational squadrons.
