First female F-16 pilot retires
Lt. Col. Sharon Preszler of the USAF, the first female active-duty F-16 pilot, has retired after 20 years in uniform on Oct. 13.
Preszler was commissioned in 1986 and became a navigator before learning to pilot C-21s, in 1993 she became the first female to train on the F-16.
