M51 Gives France More Flexible Deterrent To Meet Changing Threats
France's next-generation M51 nuclear tipped ballistic missile is expected to make its first land launch this year.
The new missile weighs half of the M45 and can carry up to six warheads over a range in excess of 6,000km.
