Navy to mothball the JFK
The U.S. House and Senate have reached a deal to mothball aircraft carrier USS John F. Kennedy.
The Navy can now retire the Kennedy in the upcoming fiscal year but must keep the ship in good enough condition to be reactivated in case of a national emergency.
