US govt report clears way for EADS helicopter work
EADS has been cleared to resume work on the U.S. Army light utility helicopter contract after the GOA rejected protests from other bidders.
EADS was chosen in June to build a new fleet of up to 352 light utility helicopters but AgustaWestland and MD Helicopters Inc. protested the decision to the GAO.
