French angle for Saudi billions
Saudi Arabia has threatened to cancel the contract for 72 Eurofighter Typhoons if the British Serious Fraud Office opens up secret Swiss bank accounts allegedly linked to members of the Saudi royal family.
The Serious Fraud Office is currently investigating allegations that BAE bribed Saudi defence procurement officials with gifts for the Al-Yamamah defense contract.
