Israeli Company Urges Rebidding for Early Warning Aircraft Deal
IAI Elta has sent a letter to South Korea's Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) seeking to reverse its decision to disqualify Elta from the AEW&C aircraft contest.
Elta explained that it has finally obtain all the required export licenses from the U.S. government regarding key items to be installed on its aircraft on Oct. 27.
The lack of certain export licenses from Washington lead to Elta's exit from the contest in August.
