Probe into BAE's Saudi defence deal dropped
Britain's Serious Fraud Office has bowed to pressure and abandon a two-year-old inquiry into a BAE slush fund for some members of the Saudi royal family.
The SFO said "representations" were made to the Attorney General and the director of the SFO on the need to safeguard national and international security.
