U.S. Wants to Place More Radar in Japan
Pentagon wants to setup another X-Band radar site in southern Japan to monitor the Taepodong-2 launch site in northeastern North Korea.
The U.S military has a X-band radar in in Aomori Prefecture, northern Japan. It was activated in September.
