Cecil Field's time is up, but Oceana isn't in the clear
NAS Oceana is safe for the moment as the BRAC's order to move the USN's master jet base to Cecil Field, Florida expired on Dec. 31.
However, Oceana's future is still threatened as other competitors try to lure the Navy to their bases.
