1st Stinger Battery makes first deployment in support of OIF
The 1st Stinger Battery, Marine Air Control Group 18, 1st U.S. Marine Aircraft Wing was deployed to Iraq on Feb. 9.
It will have a secondary mission of providing air base security due to the low air-threat in Iraq.
