Early-warning Wedgetail late again
Delivery of RAAF's Wedgetail has been pushed back again to March, 2009. It will be 2010 before the first aircraft are declared operational.
The new plan is to get the radar working in parallel with the electronic support measures, com systems and the datalink.
Radar development is expected to be completed this year.
